My name’s Kristen and I’m a photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I’ve been a photographer a little over 14 years. I attended Ohio University where I majored in photojournalism and my love for photographing the moments of everyday life and people grew.
Documenting your life’s special moments and creating meaningful, storytelling photographs of the ones you love is the best part of my job.
My background in photojournalism gives my style a timeless, intimate and classic look. My philosophy is to document and capture photographs that will stand the test of time. Your photographs will become heirloom pieces that will be passed down for generations to come.

PET: My dog, Harvey, she’s a Hurricane Harvey rescue and the best girl.
BOOKS: Harry Potter, always.
HOBBY: Weaving on my loom, you can never have too much yarn!
ACTIVITY: Hiking and camping, anything outdoors.
PLACES TRAVELED: Spain, Vietnam, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Cambodia
MOVIE: Jurassic Park + Harry Potter (duh!)
PLANT: ALL of them. I have a pretty good collection of house plants, 80 and growing!
DRINK: Daytime, coffee + Evenings, a bold Cab
FOOD: Thai - the more noodles the better.
HUMAN: My partner in crime and fiancé, Brian (that’s him in the photo). We’ve been together for 13 years and have lived in 3 states together!
